Pittsburgh travels to South Bend to play unbeaten Notre Dame this weekend, and the Panthers are hoping to catch the Irish napping after their impressive win in Norman.

Except Pitt might be without three starters who inexplicably (and allegedly) surrounded a guy and then sucker punched him in the street two weeks ago. From the Post-Gazette:

"In an interview with police, Mr. Olsheski said he was walking in Oakland with two women when Mr. Graham stopped him, said, “What’s up?” and uttered a racial slur. Mr. Olsheski said that he replied “nothing” and tried to leave but Mr. Graham, Mr. Street and Mr. Pitts surrounded him and then Mr. Street slugged him on the left side of the head, according to the criminal complaint."

The Panthers are 19-point underdogs, and if Graham (the team’s leading rusher (622 yards) and scorer (nine touchdowns) is suspended, it’s difficult to imagine a scenario where the Irish lose.

Onward to the BCS title game, Notre Dame!
