San Francisco got in field goal range, but David Akers pushed the game winner. Then, St. Louis marched down the field, and then got conservative running into the 49ers defense once they got into field goal range. Greg Zuerlein hit a 53 yard field goal, but it didn’t count because of a delay of game penalty. He then missed the 58 yard attempt.

After that, neither team could get in scoring range before the game ended in a tie. This is only the fifth tie since 1990, and the first since the Eagles and Bengals did it in 2008. Donovan McNabb, you are off the hook.
