Eli Manning Said "Ya Know" 238 Times During His Radio Spot on WFAN

Eli Manning has a weekly spot with WFAN’s Mike Francesa every Monday afternoon during the NFL season. It’s an interview I usually end up catching at least a portion of whether I intend to or not, but this week I managed to catch the spot in its entirety.

Aside from the notorious cliche of “good football” that Eli is so commonly heard saying when reflecting upon the Giants’ most recent performance — “we played good football” or “we need to play good football” — it became quite evident that the two-time Super Bowl MVP simply could not stop saying “ya know.”

So after tweeting that he sounded as ridiculous as a 7th grade girl saying “like” every three seconds, @WFANTrades was kind enough to splice together all 238 “ya knows” from the interview. Eli’s hot streak comes at the 2:55 mark. It’s a 40-second response to a question in which he says “ya know” 19 times, equating to a “ya know” every 2.1 seconds.

As Biggie Smalls once aptly stated, if ya don’t know, now ya know.
