Alabama Survived Late Georgia Drive, Won SEC Championship, Will Play Notre Dame in BCS Title Game
By Ty Duffy
Soo…close. Georgia drove inside the Alabama 10, opted not to clock it with 15 seconds remaining and had a tipped ball caught in bounds short of the end zone. The Crimson Tide survived with a 32-28 win and will play Notre Dame for the BCS Title. What an incredible game.
It had the intensity of last year’s Alabama vs. LSU meetings, but things happened. More than 900 yards of total offense. Giving a joint game ball to Lacy, Yeldon and the Bama offensive line who combined for 334 yards and three touchdowns on 45 carries.
Guessing this clear hold on the McCarron to Cooper touchdown will be a message board talking point…
