Baseball hall of famer Robin Yount shot his former teammate, Cubs manager Dale Sveum, in the ear during a hunting accident. The two were hunting quail in Arizona. He was not hurt.
"“The bird was in front of him and I was about 50 yards up on a hill,” Sveum said Tuesday at baseball’s winter meetings in Nashville. “He got the bird up and lost track of where I was. He pulled the trigger and was like, ‘Uh, oh.'” Sveum said it was a bloody scene, but was not hurt. “I got drilled with pellets in the back and then one stuck in the ear,” he said."
