Sunday Night Football: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers

It has been almost 21 years since the Detroit Lions won a game in Lambeau Field. That is amazing, considering they play every year. That’s a college-like streak between a powerhouse school and a patsy. I mean, the NFL is supposed to be an “Any Given Sunday” league, but it hasn’t happened on any given Sunday since I was a senior in high school.

Last year, it was the crazy week 17 game where the Packers even rested Aaron Rodgers, but the Lions gave up 6 touchdown passes to Matt Flynn, making him a lot of money to be Seattle’s backup. Hey, at least Flynn got a good amount of action today!

With the Bears loss today, the Packers can get to within a win at Chicago next week of clinching the division, if they can extend that streak to 22 straight wins in Green Bay (one in the postseason).
