Victor Cruz Wearing the Name Jack Pinto, a Huge Fan of His Who Was Murdered in Newtown, on His Cleats

One of Victor Cruz’ biggest fans was Jack Pinto, one of the first graders murdered in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut. The Giants will be wearing the initials of the school on their helmet today, and Cruz has written the above message on his shoes for today’s game: “Jack Pinto, ‘My Hero'” and “R.I.P. Jack Pinto”
