Olympic Stories… NBC underwater camera showed a water polo boob. Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells were jealous of the attention lavished on Lolo Jones. Fully 1/3 of NBC Olympic coverage (estimated) was devoted to Misty and Kerry’s quest for a third gold medal. Their Italian and Czech opponents were compelling in their own right. The sport also having cheerleaders seemed rather redundant. Ellen Hoog turned many people on…to the sport of field hockey. We met Michael Phelps’ girlfriend. Swimmer Lauren Perdue turned down a dinner invite from LeBron. Serena Williams’ crip walk caused a stir.
North Carolina Scandal… Julius Peppers’ transcript was posted online. Julius Peppers’ agent might have created a website to smear a critical reporter.
College Football… The season was getting so close we could taste it. Oregon Cheerleaders and USC Song Girls visited lakes. Notre Dame’s Shamrock Series uniforms were not a hit.
Prince Harry… He partied naked in Vegas and raced Ryan Lochte in a pool.
This… James Harden picture happened.
Douche Move… A Philadelphia radio host asked Erin Andrews about her All-Star Game dress. An awkward exchange ensued.
