Colorado Got Screwed by the Referees at the Buzzer, and Arizona Won in Overtime

Sabatino Chen banked in this 3-pointer at the buzzer, and Colorado stunned No. 3 Arizona in the desert, 83-80. Except … referees looked at replays and decided the ball was not out of his hands in time, and waved off the basket. That’s funny, because nobody – Arizona fans, casual fans, people who switched over to the game with the Fiesta Bowl at halftime – who saw the shot and the replays agree with the call.
The ball is just beyond the tips of Chen’s fingers when the backboard lights up and the clock hits 00.0. Colorado got shafted.
