Stephen Spradling, a senior on the Florida State baseball team, was in a horrific accident sky diving on Sunday, ending his collegiate career. He is lucky to be alive. Spradling suffered the following injuries: broken pelvis, broken hips, broken ribs and a broken back. He will be in a wheelchair for two to three months.

Spradling was hurt when he tried to avoid another skydiver who was traveling toward him as they were both about 100 feet above the ground. He pulled on the chute to avoid the collision, and crashed into the ground.
