Bryan Thomas Charged With Aggravated Assault, Also Possessed Pain Killers and Marijuana

Jets linebacker Bryan Thomas has applied to enter a probation program as a result of an arrest for aggravated assault on Halloween. The aggravated assault arises out of the use of a kitchen chair when assaulting his wife, and he also allegedly punched her in the stomach and grabbed her neck.

He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and of tablets suspected of being the pain killer hydrocodone.

The 33-year old Thomas started 10 games this season for the Jets, recording 24 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
