The NHL is supposedly back. (I’ll believe it when I see it.) To celebrate, Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist went on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday and played the guitar riff from Sweet Child O’ Mine. For female hockey fans, this was a seminal moment as it kept Lundqvist in his hockey sweater, but lost that dreadful goalie mask which regrettably obscures that beautiful face. The last person to perform Sweet Child O’ Mine in a Rangers jersey in New York was Axl Rose, but he looked like he was wearing goalie pads underneath. R.I.P. GNR.
