Zach Miller Almost Set the Seattle Postseason Receiving Record Playing With Torn Plantar Fascia in His Foot

Zach Miller tore the plantar fascia in his foot on the third play of the game. He went off to the locker room, got a painkilling shot deep in the chasm of the stadium, and returned to the game. If that doesn’t sound like that big of a deal, take a look at Jason Taylor’s description of getting pain killers in his feet if you really want to cringe. Yeah, so Zach Miller went and got a shot, and played on a foot with torn tissue. Hopped up on the pain killers and not feeling the searing pain temporarily, he then went out and had his career game in Seattle. He hadn’t had more than 59 yards receiving in any one game since signing with Seattle, but repeatedly got open for Russell Wilson, finishing with 8 catches and 142 yards.
