Chicago Bears Coach Marc Trestman Was Once Referenced on 30 Rock [Video]

New Bears coach Marc Trestman won two Grey Cups while coaching the Montreal Alouettes. However, the real highlight of his coaching career was a 2011 episode of 30 Rock. Danny, a seldom-used Canadian cast member had an Alouettes poster in his dressing room, autographed by Trestman. USA TODAY spoke with Trestman after the episode originally aired. He was understandably surprised by the mention. If only 30 Rock had saved the joke for when Trestman became a truly obscure reference – coach of the 2013 Chicago Bears.
