Tyrone Watson, a New Mexico State Basketball Player, Allegedly Put a Kid in the Hospital With Facial Fractures & a Broken Nose

Tyrone Watson is a senior forward for the New Mexico State Aggies men’s basketball team. On Friday night he allegedly did this to Miguel Rascon, a 19-year old student at New Mexico State. The details are as brutal as the images. From KDBC.com:

One of those witnesses tells L4N Watson grabbed Rascon by the neck and threw him on the ground and “stomped on his head multiple times” after Watson thought Rascon was flirting with a girl he was with. A family member tells L4N Rascon has facial fractures, 10 stitches, and a broken nose. He went back to the hospital Monday night after having difficulty breathing. The victim did not want to press charges as of Friday night, but that family member says he has filed a criminal complaint with NMSU.

Watson has started all 21 games for New Mexico State and is averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds per game. He is a 6′ 5″, 225-pound senior from Hamilton, Ontario.
