It comes as no surprise which facet our paragons of sports journalism have chosen to highlight in magazine shoots. A year after Sports Illustrated airbrushed her nipples and had her pose wearing nothing but paint, ESPN the Magazine has dolled her up like Katy Perry, a popstar known for creepy hyperfemininity, amble boobs and subtle, not quite double entendres such as “I want to see your peacock.” At least she wasn’t holding a lollipop and covered with a dump truck’s worth of fairy dust.
