Tyler Lewis, an NC State freshman who is 5-foot-9 and 157-pounds, looks like he’s a sophomore in high school. His grandma recently passed away, and a newspaper wrote about it.

As Duke was hammering NC State Thursday night (final: 98-85, but it wasn’t even that close), Lewis toed the line and Cameron Crazies began to serenade him with a chant. It sounds like “past your bedtime,” which would be a reference to his young looks. But a bunch of folks on twitter thought they heard, “how’s your grandma,” and here we are.

You really can’t tell from this video, and I loathe Duke, but come on. Do you really think they were chanting “how’s your grandma?”

[UPDATE: Some Duke fans did chant “how’s your grandma” according to the News & Observer, which spoke to Lewis’s father. “It was mostly ‘Past your bedtime,’ but there was an instant when a brief number of students chanted about Tyler’s grandmother,” Rick Lewis said Friday. “It wasn’t the entire student section, I think a few tried to outdo themselves.”]
