Kansas Loses to Unranked Oklahoma, Third Straight Loss is Worst Since 2005

The No. 5 ranked Kansas Jayhawks dropped its third loss on Saturday, losing to unranked Oklahoma by a score of 72-66. This comes on the heels of embarrassingly falling to TCU, leading an exasperated Bill Self to reference things like the Topeka YMCA and slightly harsh words like “the worst Kansas team ever put on the floor.” Following yet another loss, it’s assumed Self will gift us with an equally irritable press conference. Don’t be surprised if, in lieu of answering questions, he rips off his toupee and violently staples it to the wall.

The Jayhawks haven’t experienced a three-game skid since 2005, where they lost to Texas Tech, Iowa State, and Oklahoma.
