The Miami Hurricanes tied a school record Saturday, hitting 15 3-pointers – 13 of their first 19 – en route to an 87–61 bludgeoning of North Carolina. The Canes have won 11 straight, are 19-3 and 10-0 in the ACC. They are playing so well that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade decided to attend the game (before putting on their own show on Sunday against the Lakers).

Baseball Hall of Famer Barry Larkin’s son Shane, who made five of the 3-pointers and threw up this sick off-the-glass pass to Kenny Kadji, had this to say of LeBron and Wade being at the game:

"“It was definitely a fun thing to have them come to a game,” Larkin said. “It’s a great feeling knowing people at that level are realizing what you’re doing.” "

Miami is poised to land a top seed in next month’s NCAA tournament. Not a bad second year in South Beach, Jim Larranaga.
