Cam Newton Helps Air Force Serviceman Propose Over the Phone, and the Girlfriend's Response is Priceless

Cam Newton was on Kiss 95.1 (audio here) and took part in an over the phone proposal from Air Force serviceman Brian to his girlfriend Kim, who lives in North Carolina. Both are big Carolina Panthers fans, and Newton first talked to Brian, before the radio station called Kim and had Cam Newton let her know that Brian had an important question to ask her.
She was still incredulous that the Panthers’ quarterback was on the phone, when Brian went on a long and endearing proposal. Here was the exchange:
Brian: From the moment I met you, I knew that I loved you, and I knew that I wanted to love you for the rest of my life. I know when you say something over and over again, it can lose meaning, but every time I say I love you, I mean it, and I want you to be my wife. I want you to marry me.
Kim: I can’t believe Cam Newton is on the phone.
She eventually did say yes, no word on whether she thought it was to Cam Newton or Brian.
