Alexi Lalas appeared on the Colbert Report last night to talk about soccer’s latest match-fixing scandal. It’s a solid 6 minutes of jokes about soccer which is always fun. Lalas says he pities Colbert for not appreciating the beautiful game and that must be a common feeling for reasonable soccer fans. Of course, the highlight of the interview is when Lalas comes close enough to touching Stephen Colbert that Colbert is forced to take a dive. If you ask me, it looked like an embellishment.
