Turkish soccer fans can be pretty crazy. Istanbul-based Fenerbache beat BATE Borisov 1-0, advancing to the Round of 16 in the Europa League. Fans were banned from the stadium, as punishment for throwing projectiles on the field during a December match against Borussia Moenchengladbach. That did not stop thousands of them from making their presence felt, with flares.
An imperfect victim perhaps not equipped to handle such a moment, but a victim nonetheless.
Not stopping him, though.
Now that’s how you celebrate.
