Phil Mickelson took an unusual shot during round 1 of the World Golf Championship yesterday. After his drive settled in the middle of the cart path near the 17th hole, Mickelson had a rare concrete save before knocking in the birdie putt on his third shot. Mickelson finished the round a shot behind the leaders – including Tiger Woods. Play continues today with a lot of familiar names near the top of the leaderboard.
