John Tortorella Was Especially Surly Following Loss to Sabres [Video]

Rangers coach John Tortorella was humorously unpleasant following his team’s 3-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night. The visibly disgusted coach refused to offer Buffalo any credit, calling them a team “ripe to be beaten,” and went on to suggest that perhaps his players should be answering some questions. The whole interview is an absolute delight, a true clinic in candor, but the money line came towards the end:

“I’m not gonna pick it apart. We sucked. And we sucked at a time that you can’t suck.”

There is simply no one better at being pissed off than the great John Tortorella. Someone really needs this guy on a golf course with Bob Knight immediately.
