Gonzaga Goes Down; Wichita State Stuns the First Number One Seed

Wichita State jumped on Gonzaga early, but the Bulldogs came all the way back to take an 8 point lead in the second half. Then, Wichita State got hot from outside, hitting seven straight three pointers to blow past Gonzaga late. Wichita State made fourteen three point shots in pulling the upset.
Commence the Gonzaga bashing, as they have again failed to live up to expectations in the tournament. You can point to a costly inbounds error turnover with about four minutes left, but on this night, it was a fantastic performance by Gregg Marshall’s team that did them in.
