Was the Opening Weekend of March Madness More Exciting Than This High School Girls' Slam Dunk Contest?

March Madness got off to a rocky start this year. We had FGCU making the Sweet 16, Harvard beat New Mexico, Wichita State beat Gonzaga and Oregon beat Oklahoma State, but the last one wasn’t as significant as the seed indicated. Last year, Lisk noted that the thrilling 1990 NCAA Tournament also had a slow and chalky Thursday. This year we haven’t had a buzzer beater or overtime.

So this tournament stinks. But was it better than this two-year old video of a high school girls’ slam dunk contest on a short rim? I say no. Though the P.A. guy for this dunk contest would probably say, “Yeah!” Over and over again. Now you vote!
