Chris Kaman Doesn't Like Dwyane Wade, is Still Salty About Questionable Calls in the 2006 NBA Finals That He Didn't Even Play In

Chris Kaman, was with the LA Clippers in 2006, watching the NBA Finals at home, I’d imagine. I vaguely remember the 2006 NBA Finals – I was on the other side of the world getting engaged, and missed the bulk of the series. Kaman, though, remembers it well – Dallas was leading 2-0, then Miami rallied, and in Game 5, this questionable call went against the Mavericks. Miami went on to win the title.

For reasons I can’t explain, Kaman still holds the calls against D Wade. He went on 104.1 the Ticket Monday and said this:

I’m actually a LeBron James fan. I’m not much of a Dwyane Wade fan, but I’m a LeBron James fan. I’ve been watching him play, and we were in the same draft together. He’s had a great career already. I don’t want him to win everything, but I’m ok with the winning streak. I’m not against it or really for it. I just never really go along with (Dwyane Wade). I guess I just don’t like his style or whatever. I didn’t like the year the Mavs lost when he got all the foul calls. I didn’t like that.”

Why didn’t Kaman bring up Wade’s dirty streak? Too bad the Mavericks don’t play the Heat again this season. [Dallas Morning News]
