Marlon Williams, Former Texas Tech Linebacker & Current Rapper, is on The Real World: Portland, Calls His Penis "Black Mamba"

Marlon Williams was a starting linebacker for Texas Tech from 2007 to 2009, earning All-Big XII honorable mention honors twice. Last night, more than 3 years after finishing his college football career, Williams returned to our living rooms through another institution that exploits young people for the amusement of America – MTV’s The Real World.

Based on the first episode of Real World: Portland, Williams seems like a nice enough guy, though he does expose himself to two female housemates and refers to his penis as “Black Mamba.” Just thought you should know.

In addition to the Real World, Williams – 24, the oldest cast member – is also working on a music career under the name, “Jay Dillinger.” In an interview with XXL, Williams explained that he didn’t plan on doing any music while on the show.

I’ve wanted to get into TV shows and just the entertainment business as a whole, so I thought it would be a good jump off for that. I really wasn’t going to do music, but it just kind of fell in my lap. I was doing some freestyles, and then someone had me hit this guy up, I went to the studio, etc.

Total coincidence. (MTV seemed to really go for the “it” factor this season. Two or three of the female cast members list “model” as an occupation and that isn’t counting the Hooters waitress or the girl that appeared in a 2010 edition of Playboy.) Now we just wait to see if he is able to move on to a real career after The Real World or if he simply becomes a dominant player in the Real World / Road Rules Challenges.
