Nope, nope, nope.
Justin Verlander signed a 7-year, $180 million extension. Whoop de damn do. (The Tigers tweeted it was a 5-year extension with a vesting option.)
That’s major news? Was Verlander in the mix to go elsewhere? He wasn’t even a free agent!
