Tallahassee Community College Baseball Players Hook 13-Foot, 1,000 Great White Shark Off Fort Lauderdale Coast

Four Tallahassee Community College Baseball players were on a fishing trip off the Fort Lauderdale coast when they hooked something big. They later told the media they thought it was too big to be a bull shark, but during the two-hour struggle with the beast, they weren’t exactly sure what it was.

Then, they saw it: a 13-foot Great White shark, estimated to be as large as 1,000 pounds. I’m waiting patiently for video. [UPDATE: Here’s the video]

Somebody alert the River Monster guys, quick! They care about Ocean-related behemoths, right?
