The Denver Broncos supposedly face the easiest schedule in 2013 (primarily due to poor records of the other AFC West teams), but they have numerous key national games. Denver, as rumored, opens at home against Baltimore on Thursday night in a rematch of the game that sent the Broncos home last year. Week 2 is the Manning Bowl against the Giants. Peyton Manning will return to Indianapolis for Sunday Night Football on October 20th. The following week, Denver will host the Washington Redskins and long time coach Mike Shanahan.

The third game on NBC is the Tom Brady/Peyton Manning game, with a side of Wes Welker returning to New England on November 24th, leading into Thanksgiving week. That weekend is the best slate of games, from the always competitive Saints-Falcons game on the Thursday night, to a Vikings-Packers game early, Dallas and the Giants late in the afternoon, and then closing the week with San Francisco traveling to Washington (and hopefully a fully healthy Robert Griffin III) on Monday Night.
