Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Boston Marathon Bomber Still at Large, is a Student at UMass-Dartmouth

Dzhokhar TsarnaevDzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 19-year-old Boston Marathon bomber who is currently being hunted in Massachusetts by the FBI, is a student at UMass-Dartmouth and lived in a dorm, WCVB in Boston reports.

Tsarnaev, whose brother – also wanted by the FBI – was killed in a shootout this morning, graduated from Boston’s Cambridge Rindge & Latin School in 2011, according to the Guardian. He was on the wrestling team. The AP talked to his father:

Anzor Tsarnaev spoke with The Associated Press by telephone from the Russian city of Makhachkala on Friday after police said one of his sons, Tamerlan, had been killed in a shootout and the other, Dzhokhar, was being intensely pursued.

“My son is a true angel,” the elder Tsarnaev said. “Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the U.S. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here.”

An angel? Has Anzor seen this photo yet? What kind of angel leaves a backpack full of explosives at the feet of innocent human beings?
