Silento Sayles is a senior at Port Gibson High School in Mississippi. His high school career ended this week in a 10-0 win. During the game, Sayles stole seven bases to bring his season total to 103. If that seems like a lot of stolen bases, that’s because it is. Sayles averaged 3.5 stole bases a game to break the 22-year old state record of 87, and the 17-year old national record of 96.
