NFL Draft: St. Louis Rams Select Alec Ogletree of Georgia, Dallas Surprises with Travis Frederick, a Center from Wisconsin, and Baltimore Closes with Matt Elam

Dallas then joined the trade down parade, surprising by going with a center that I did not see in any mock drafts, and I went through and there were 62 different players appearing in first rounds of various mocks. Travis Frederick from Wisconsin was the pick. It’s an obvious area of need, but not a player that was viewed as a first round pick.
Baltimore then closed the first round by taking the third safety, grabbing big hitter Matt Elam of Florida. He should move into Ed Reed’s role of getting fined by the commissioner quite nicely.
