J.R. Smith, the NBA’s 6th Man of the Year, elbowed Jason Terry in the face during the 4th quarter of Game 3 of the Knicks – Celtics series. Terry took a swipe at the ball, Smith threw a little elbow to create some space. Smith was assessed a flagrant-2 and ejected. Terry, the 6th Man of the Year in 2009, had to be restrained. Apparently there is no camaraderie with that award.  Smith had 15 points on 6-12 shooting when he was ejected.
