Mike Mayock of the NFL Network was sick of talking about Manti Te’o yesterday. Probably because he had money on where Tyrann Mathieu was drafted. During the second round, Mayock bragged that an NFL coach now owed him twenty bucks because he had bet him that the Honey Badger would not go in the first 50 picks of the NFL Draft. Rich Eisen and the rest of his co-anchors wanted Mayock to give up the coach who bet on the draft, but Mayock kept his mouth shut because as silly as a $20 bet between two adults is, Roger Goodell would probably still have a problem it.
