Meet Stumpy, the three-legged alligator who calls the water hazards at TPC Louisiana home. The PGA Tour is visiting Stumpy’s home course this week for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and the gator took the opportunity to get himself on television. Ricky Barnes had the lead after round one and called it a “pretty stress free round,” which makes no sense because there are G.D. alligators running around the course. To their credit, players kept going while Stumpy wandered around mugging for the camera. Golf wins again! [Tampa Bay Times]
