Gareth Bale Scores, Saves Tottenham's Bacon Again [GIF]

Tottenham still have a shot at playing in the Champions League next season thanks to one man: Gareth Bale.
Bale scored his 20th Premier League goal Saturday to rescue Spurs after a dire performance against Southampton, the Welshman’s boyhood club. Once again he did it by himself, cutting inside on his left foot and ripping a low shot from outside the box to beat Artur Boruc.
The 1-0 win keeps Tottenham in the conversation for the top four, heading into Wednesday’s season-defining game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Spurs moved, temporarily into fourth-place, one point ahead of Arsenal, which plays QPR later on Saturday. (As of this writing, Theo Walcott had given the Gunners a 1-o lead inside of 20 seconds.)

Bale scores.
Fun fact — Bale is the first Tottenham player to score 20+ league goals since Jurgen Klinsmann in the 1994-95 season.
