Nicole Eggert Went to the Hospital After Landing Flat on Her Back During Final Dive on Splash [Video]

Nicole Eggert was a finalist on the first (I just assume there will be another because ABC is awful) season of Splash, a show we gave up on when Katherine Webb was unjustly voted off withdrew from the competition because of an injury. During Tuesday’s finale, Eggert tried a double backflip and landed flat on her back. She was taken to the hospital to check for kidney damage, but she was alright, suffering bruising and swelling on her back. Since Eggert was OK, I think we can marvel at what a brutal landing that was.
