The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway was red-flagged for 26 minutes after a television cable suspended over the track snapped, injuring spectators and damaging cars. Track officials said 10 fans were hurt, and three were transported to a hospital for treatment. The rest were treated on-site and released.
The incident happened on lap 121 of the 400-lap event. A handful of cars were affected, including the one driven by then-leader Kyle Busch.
