Longtime Atlanta Hawk Mookie Blaylock is on life support after being involved in a car accident in Clayton County, Georgia. Blaylock is one of three people injured in the accident. He collided head on with another car after crossing over a median into oncoming traffic.
Blaylock, 46, was driving a Cadillac Escalade northbound on Tara Boulevard when for unknown reasons, he crossed over the median and into a southbound lane, Jonesboro police Chief Franklin Allen told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Blaylock was an NBA All-Star in 1994 and was selected to the NBA All-Defensive 1st Team twice. He finished top five in steals nine times in 13 seasons with the Nets, Hawks and Warriors.
