Durham Bulls shortstop Tim Beckham is a phenomenal dancer, and he got the opportunity to use his impressive moves during last night’s game against Scranton. Trying to score from second base on a single, he arrived at the plate after catcher Jeff Farnham had received the ball. A few jukes and dekes later, Beckham was safe.
Beckham was the first player selected in the 2008 Amateur Draft and has been trumpeted as a five-tool talent. Perhaps this slippery elusiveness qualifies as a sixth tool.
