Joey Crawford Will Be The Referee For Game 2 of NBA Finals

tim-duncan-tony-paker-guns-joey-crawfordNBA referee and noted showman Joey Crawford will referee Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat. Crawford’s countless fans who tune in specifically to watch him will be thrilled.

The Spurs are not Crawford fans. That’s not especially surprising. Duncan accused Crawford of having a “vendetta” against him,  after Crawford called two technical fouls on him and ejected him for laughing on the bench in a 2007 game.

LeBron James has fouled out five times in his 10-year NBA career. The last two, Game 4 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals against Boston and Game 4 of the 2013 semifinals against Indiana, were refereed by, you guessed it, Joey Crawford.

Crawford may not affect the outcome, but he almost certainly will make himself the center of attention.
