Elevator Worker at the San Francisco 49ers' New Levi's Stadium Dies In Construction Accident

An elevator subcontractor working at the new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara was killed today in an accident, according to nbcbayarea.com. The worker was killed when a counterweight fell on top of him at around 6:45 a.m. local time. The Levi’s stadium is currently under construction, with a target of being open for the 2014 NFL Season. Recently, the Bay Area was selected as the host for the 2016 Super Bowl based on building the new stadium in Santa Clara.
