Merion Golf Club and the weather teamed up to make the first round of the 2013 U.S. Open a soggy mess. Players seemed to spend the better part of their Thursday rounds walking through the Pennsylvania tall grass. Friday’s round at least saw the sun, but players still got dirty walking through the muck to find their balls. Above are some of our favorite images of PGA Tour pros hacking the tall grass like the regular people skipping work to watch them. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, Luke Donald, Jim Furyk, Ian Poulter, and Steve Stricker are among the pros left looking human.
