Derek Holland: Fan of Counting Crows, Not a Fan of Concerts in New Jersey

The Texas Rangers are set to begin a series in New York tonight against the Yankees. With an off-night on Monday, Rangers’ lefty Derek Holland decided to attend a (sold out!) Counting Crows concert at the Count Baise Theater in Red Bank, N.J. (Opening act: The Wallflowers!)

If you read through Holland’s twitter timeline, it didn’t go very well. Instead it went sort of like, if you’ll indulge me, a “Long December.”

Everything starts off on a positive note:

It quickly turns sour, as Holland must’ve gotten too riled up during “Mr. Jones.”

And here come the anti-Jersey jokes …

At least it ended on a kinda okay note, right?
