James Gandolfini attended Rutgers and once appeared in a commercial promoting the football program with head coach Greg Schiano. FOX Sports Florida says the ad is from the Spring of 2001 – before Schiano’s first season at Rutgers. The third season of The Sopranos ran from March to May that year.
