He drafted Cole Aldrich (bust), traded for Kendrick Perkins (could get amnestied), traded for Hasheem Thabeet (non-factor) and now has drafted Steven Adams. Personally, I would have gone with Plumlee or Olynyk, but hey, I’m not general manager.

Boston then traded up to the 13th spot to take Gonzaga’s Kelly Olynyk. Dallas wanted to move out of the first round to save money – the want to make a run at Dwight Howard – and Boston was more than willing. The Celtics, who are about to trade Kevin Garnett to the Nets, will need a big man.

At 14, the Timberwolves – picking after the trade with the Jazz for Trey Burke – took Shabazz Muhammad from UCLA. He’ll get a chance to play shoot immediately.

A bunch of trades just went down, and instead of boring you with them, here are picks 15-20:

15. Milwaukee – Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece
16. Atlanta – Lucas Nogueira, Brazil
17. Atlanta – Dennis Schroeder, Germany
18. Dallas – Shane Larkin, Miami
19. Cleveland – Sergey Karasev, Russia
20. Chicago – Tony Snell, New Mexico.
