New York Giants linebacker Dan Connor was arrested at Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday. The former Penn State standout was apparently carrying a switchblade in his luggage and subsequently charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
Connor had been attempting to enter a terminal when a TSA agent spotted the knife while running his bags through an x-ray machine. Bringing a switchblade to an airport seems like the kind of thing one might avoid doing unless they had the spare time to spend an afternoon at a police station.
Connor was signed by the Giants in March. It will be his third team in six seasons.
