Jacob Turner “had himself a ballgame” yesterday. The 22-year old Turner had 5 strikeouts in 7 innings in a Marlins win over the Braves on Wednesday. He also hit his first career triple. And he posed for this picture that looks more like something Shin Soo-ji would do while throwing a baseball than a Miami Marlin. In fact, Turner’s performance was so impressive that MLB wrote up a glowing review of his game in which they called him Justin Turner. The Marlins – who employ Jacob Turner and play against Justin Turner whenever they face the Mets – then tweeted the story from their official account. [Getty, MLB, Deadspin]
